Expressive Child

Letting your child express her/him-self is more healthy than allowing them to keep silent and close up about how they feel when something triggers. Allow them to express what they feel and appropriately address the situation, the issue and provide them space to breathe and understand what they are experiencing. This permeates them to take a step back and analyse the incident and their feelings. Clamping up about how they feel is not healthy.
