There are various stimulus that we react to daily; so much so, we lack constant awareness of all factors – this is perhaps how we are protected from being overwhelmed.
Misattribution transfers the stimulus, arousal and reaction to significant events in our days.
How our mind works?
When a client walks in with material regarding their concerns and how events turned out; how can we facilitate intervention/ therapy, utilizing the way misattribution works (‘automatically’) in our lives?
I suppose therapists also have to pay attention to misattribution of memories.
